Employment is a two- party agreement. The parties involved are the employer and the employee. The employee is hired by the employer to perform certain tasks. The wages and the period of contract will be mentioned in the contract agreement between both the parties. Employers can be private parties, business owners and the government itself. Employees can be part time or full time, permanent or contract based. In a corporate sector, the human resources department acts as the intermediary between the employee and the employer. The employee benefits and termination of employment differ from country to country. In some places, at-will employment is prevalent which allows both parties to terminate the employment at any time they desire. Notice is given in many cases before the termination of the agreement.
